It’s been over four years since the most recent, and, imo, best Jay-Z album, 4:44. It’s been over three years since he and Beyoncé released the album Everything Is Love. This is a longer gap between albums than the one between when Jay-Z announced his retirement in 2003 and released Kingdom Come in 2006. Come on, Jay-Z! You can’t leave rap alone; the game needs you.
